Join a Streetsboro Machine Shop as an Entry-Level Machining Production Operator
Step onto a busy production floor where precision and momentum drive the day. Guided by experienced teammates, you’ll learn to set up and run shop equipment and keep parts flowing to spec. Immediate starts are available—perfect if you’re ready to jump in next week.
A day in the shop
- Set up and operate cutters, shears, borers, millers, grinders, presses, drills, and auxiliary machines to support production goals.
- Use micrometers, calipers, rules, templates, and other gauges to inspect parts and verify accuracy.
- Adjust machines by moving controls or mounting gears, cams, or templates to set feed rates, cutting speeds, depths, and angles.
- Position and secure raw material or workpieces using stops, arbors, chucks, fixtures, or automatic feeds—by hand or with hoists.
- Perform basic upkeep: oil and clean machines, dies, and workpieces; add coolant to reservoirs as needed.
About you
- Comfortable learning machining processes in a shop environment.
- Familiar with basic measurement tools (mics, calipers, etc.) or eager to learn.
- Reliable transportation to Streetsboro.
Schedule & pay
- All shifts available.
- Plenty of overtime opportunities.
- $15.00/hour and up, based on experience.
