A night on the floor: your impact
At 10:45 PM, you connect with the outgoing team, review production priorities, and verify that every press and extrusion line you’ll touch is set to validated specifications. You confirm machine setups, fine‑tune parameters, and get the shift running smoothly. As production ramps up, you support operators, jump in to complete mold or extrusion changeovers, and chase down any process or equipment hiccups before they become downtime. When quality is at risk, you have the authority to stop the line, correct the issue, and get the process back within limits.
Throughout the night you document setups and parameters, keep tooling and work areas clean, perform assigned preventive maintenance, and partner with maintenance and engineering when deeper troubleshooting is required. Your steady approach ensures schedules are met, safety standards are followed, and product quality stays consistent.
