Attorney

L&W Recruiting, on behalf of a well‑established Mid‑Atlantic law firm, seeks an Insurance Defense Attorney to join the firm’s Litigation Defense and Business Law practice in Allentown, PA.

• Key responsibilities: Manage insurance defense matters from intake through resolution; draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other court filings; conduct and defend depositions; prepare witnesses and coordinate experts and vendors; appear at hearings, mediations, and trials; communicate with clients, insurers, opposing counsel, and courts; maintain organized files and calendars; mentor junior attorneys.
• Required qualifications: 2–6+ years insurance defense or related civil litigation experience; active Pennsylvania law license; demonstrated motion practice, deposition, and courtroom experience; strong written and oral communication and case‑management skills.
• Preferred: Experience with coverage or complex defense matters; proven settlement negotiation and trial preparation skills; familiarity with e‑filing and case/document management systems; interest in mentoring and partnership track.
