Your Mission

Transform components into fully assembled boards for rail communications equipment. You’ll collaborate with a Production Supervisor/Team Leader, follow clear work instructions and BOMs, and receive training to master each build step.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Operate within an ESD-controlled environment
  • Interpret assembly prints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials
  • Select and place resistors, capacitors, relays, transistors, and integrated circuits
  • Twist, bend, and trim component leads; crimp, strip, and solder wiring
  • Create clean, reliable through-hole solder joints and underside board connections
  • Perform SMT work—surface-mount experience is required
  • Use common tools (screwdrivers, hand drill) safely and effectively
  • Verify quality with our Quality team to meet specifications
  • Apply 5S to keep equipment in top condition and your bench inspection-ready
  • Speak up immediately about any deviation that could affect safety, quality, or output
  • Drive continuous improvement and help eliminate waste
  • Back up other assembly teams when needed and model professionalism with coworkers and customers
  • Engage in ongoing training to broaden your skill set

What You’ll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of electro-mechanical assembly experience
  • Baseline soldering capability and basic computer skills
  • Clear communication (written and verbal)
  • Fundamental math and problem-solving skills

Extra Credit

  • 1+ year in electronics manufacturing
  • Component-level PCB soldering proficiency
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC-J-STD-001, or IPC-A-620

Pay Transparency

In Munhall, PA, the base hourly range is $16.40–$21.30. Final pay may vary based on budget and your experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
