Press Shop Manufacturing Supervisor

Are You Ready to Lead a High-Volume Press Floor?

Imagine walking into the press shop in Ripon, WI at 3:00 pm. You rally the team, verify PPE, and set priorities. By 3:15, presses are humming; by 6:00, you’ve coached two operators, solved a tooling hiccup with Maintenance, and aligned with Quality to protect delivery. If that sounds like your kind of challenge, this 2nd shift role (Monday–Thursday, 3:00 pm–1:00 am; additional work days may be required) is for you.

What Challenges Will You Tackle?

  • Safety leadership: Will you champion a zero-incident culture—enforcing policies, running audits, and leading root-cause investigations for incidents and near-misses while ensuring everyone is trained and using PPE?
  • People-first supervision: Can you embody servant leadership—coaching, empowering, and recognizing your team; handling attendance and conduct; serving as the first stop for employee relations; and partnering with Union Stewards on contract and discipline items?
  • High-volume execution: Are you ready to oversee stamping press operations, allocate manpower to maximize utilization, and adapt swiftly to shifting priorities so targets and delivery commitments are met?
  • Relentless improvement: Will you lead 5S, Kaizen, and Lean projects; analyze downtime, scrap, and bottlenecks; and implement countermeasures in concert with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering?
  • Clear communication: Can you keep accurate production, quality, and safety records and report KPIs while collaborating across departments to resolve issues under tight timelines?
