Yard Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for moving lumber about in the yard to maintain an orderly inventory system, smooth and satisfactory lumber sticking production, and safe and timely unloading of incoming lumber.

Duties

• Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to handle material and goods
• Load and unload lumber
• Follow proper inventory processes (numbering truck loads, tagging stickered packs with footages and lot numbers, etc…)
• Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work enviornment3
• Properly stack and block placement for air drying green lumber
• Assist in other yard tasks as needed
