A day in this role
Walk into a well-equipped shop on Pittsburgh’s West End and get straight to work—this is an immediate-need position with meaningful, long-term potential. You’ll review blueprints, set up your station, and tackle structural welds that must meet strict ASME standards and pass X-ray inspection. Some days you’ll run precise TIG beads on complex assemblies; others, you’ll switch to MIG, Stick, Flux Core, or even Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) to deliver production-ready, code-compliant work—independently or side-by-side with a skilled team.

What you’ll work on
- Structural fabrications requiring code-quality welds
- Multi-process work across MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux Core, and Submerged Arc Welding
- Blueprint-driven builds with tight tolerances
What you bring
- Structural welding experience (required)
- ASME experience mandatory
- Ability to pass an X-ray weld test
- Blueprint literacy; comfortable working solo or with a crew
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
