Product Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D models, assemblies, surfaces, and 2D technical drawings using CATIA V5
• Work from customer requirements, specifications, and initial concepts to develop production-ready designs
• Create detailed drawings, specifications, and part lists
• Support product development from concept through testing, validation, and production
• Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and resolve design issues
• Participate in design reviews and cross-functional project meetings
• Make design modifications based on testing, manufacturing feedback, or customer requirements
• Support prototype and sample builds as needed
• Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding design requirements and project updates
• Occasionally travel to customer or manufacturing locations as needed

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in product, mechanical, or automotive design
• Technical degree, CAD certification, or equivalent relevant experience
• Strong experience with CATIA V5
• Experience with 3D modeling, surfacing, assemblies, and 2D drafting
• UG NX experience is a plus
• Experience with Teamcenter or another PLM system
• Experience working with engineered components or assemblies within an automotive, transportation, or similar manufacturing environment
• Understanding of product testing, validation, and manufacturing processes
• Strong mechanical problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and customer teams
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems; PLEX experience is a plus
