Wire & Cable Production Line Operator
Location: McKinney, TX
Pay: $17–$20 per hour + overtime and shift differential
A day in this role
Your shift begins on a bustling production floor where precision and pace go hand in hand. You’ll bring up to five machines online—Armor, Cabler, and Packaging units—reviewing setups, checking safety guards, and verifying materials. As production ramps, you’ll circulate between stations: monitoring runs, measuring outputs with calipers and tape measures, tightening with wrenches and sockets, trimming with knives, and making quick adjustments to keep quality and throughput on target.
Throughout the shift you’ll log performance, escalate safety concerns the moment they surface, and keep your area orderly and hazard‑free. You’ll help teammates when lines surge, follow OSHA and Prysmian safety standards without compromise, and wrap down your equipment so the next run starts smoothly.
