We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our clients team in a first-shift, salaried role. This position is primarily focused on programming CNC lathes, with some milling responsibilities as needed. The ideal candidate has strong CAM programming experience and is comfortable supporting production in a precision machining environment.
Develop and optimize CNC programs primarily for lathe operations (2-axis and/or multi-axis)
Support milling operations as needed
Create programs using CAM software and ensure accurate post-processing
Interpret blueprints and CAD models, applying GD&T principles
Select tooling, determine speeds/feeds, and establish efficient machining strategies
Troubleshoot and improve existing programs for cycle time reduction and quality improvement
Collaborate with setup personnel and machinists during prove-outs
Maintain organized program documentation and revision control
3+ years of CNC programming experience in a machining environment
Strong experience programming CNC lathes (turning environment required)
CAM programming proficiency (Mastercam, GibbsCAM, Fusion, or similar)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
Solid understanding of tooling, workholding, and machining fundamentals
Experience optimizing programs for efficiency and quality
