Facilities Maintenance Operations Supervisor

Facilities Maintenance Operations Supervisor

Location: Pleasant Grove, OH

A day in the role

By 7:00 a.m., you’re checking in with your crew, aligning priorities for the day, and reviewing overnight tickets in the CMMS. Before lunch, you’ve walked key areas of the facility, flagged a few safety concerns, and adjusted the maintenance schedule to prevent an unexpected line stoppage. In the afternoon, you’re tracking spend against the maintenance budget, mentoring a tech on safe lockout/tagout practices, and collaborating with operations to plan next week’s project work. If an urgent repair pops up, you mobilize the team and guide a swift, safe response. That’s a typical day leading maintenance operations here.

What you’ll tackle

  • Lead, schedule, and coordinate a team of maintenance technicians to deliver timely, high-quality repairs and upkeep.
  • Build and manage preventive and corrective maintenance plans and procedures that drive efficiency and equipment reliability.
  • Conduct routine facility walk-throughs to spot maintenance needs and proactively address safety hazards.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and track expenses to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance using our maintenance management system.
  • Partner with operations and other departments to support facility projects and daily production goals.
  • Coach, train, and mentor maintenance staff to strengthen technical capability and elevate safety awareness.
  • Lead rapid, effective responses to emergency maintenance requests as they arise.

What you bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience supervising maintenance teams, ideally within a facility environment.
  • Thorough knowledge of maintenance methods, safety regulations, and equipment operation.
  • Clear, confident leadership and communication skills to guide a diverse team.
  • Expert troubleshooting with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly.
  • Proficiency with CMMS and common maintenance tools and technologies.
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and on-call coverage as needed.

If you’re energized by building reliable systems, developing people, and keeping a facility running at its best, we’d love to connect.
