WECTEC Staffing Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, partners with nuclear sites to ensure reliable, safe operations. We’re seeking an Air-Operated Valve Reliability Analyst who thrives in fieldwork, diagnostics, and meticulous documentation.
Role Highlights

Is this you?
- Do you bring 3+ years in the nuclear industry working on AOV/actuator and General Valve maintenance and diagnostic testing?
- Can you interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation with confidence?
- Have you trained through EPRI, technical/vocational programs, or gained a U.S. Navy nuclear background (or equivalent reactor ops/maintenance training)?
- Are you known for strong performance ratings from clients and supervisors?
- Do you work safely with hand tools, electrical instruments, and diagnostic equipment, following OSHA or client electrical/mechanical safety rules?
- Are you ready for overtime, shift work, weekends, and holidays when needed?
- Complete and pass all pre-employment and employment screening requirements, which may include practical and written skills assessments, computer-based training, medical, psychological, background, and substance abuse screenings.
What you’ll do
- Report to the On-Site Manager and serve as a field resource for all AOV maintenance activities.
- Perform and evaluate functional post-maintenance tests, diagnostics, troubleshooting, corrective and preventive maintenance on various AOV types/sizes.
- Analyze test data and recommend precise repairs to achieve first-time quality.
- Execute tasks per work orders and document steps with accuracy; review documentation for completeness.
- Conduct diagnostic testing to customer specifications and within contractor/customer procedures.
- Meet mechanical safety clearance requirements and protect plant equipment at all times.
- Use human performance tools (e.g., 2-minute rule, ALARA) and complete required site/contractor training.
- Pitch in on additional duties within your capabilities as directed by management.

Pay transparency: The base salary range for this position, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills, is estimated at $80.00/hour to $90.00/hour.
