Your Mission
Own the health of the anaerobic digestion and processing systems—leveraging SCADA, lab analysis, and precision maintenance to keep the plant on spec and in compliance.
What Success Looks Like
- Daily operations run smoothly because you proactively monitor equipment, gauges, charts, and system data.
- Issues are isolated quickly; components are repaired or replaced with minimal downtime.
- Instrumentation and controls—recorders, flowmeters, monitoring systems—are calibrated and accurate.
- Process samples and lab results inform smart adjustments and meet regulatory reporting needs.
- Electrical systems operate reliably, from circuits and switches to motors and transformers (up to 480V).
- Preventive maintenance on major equipment and backup systems is completed on schedule.
- Documentation is complete and traceable—logs, records, and equipment histories.
- DCS, PLC, and turbine control issues are diagnosed and resolved effectively.
Core Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day site operations and maintenance.
- Monitor anaerobic digestion performance and overall system health via SCADA and field inspections.
- Record, analyze, and act on operational data to maintain specifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
- Maintain, repair, and adjust I&C assets.
- Collect samples; conduct laboratory analyses for process control and compliance reporting.
- Ensure operations align with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Inspect, install, repair, and remove motors, generators, transformers, switches, control equipment, wiring, and battery systems (to 480V).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience as an OMT, Process Operator, or equivalent operations position.
- Basic understanding of anaerobic digestion processes.
- Proven experience working with voltages up to 480V.
- Experience in Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) or gas processing environments.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
- Valid driver’s license.
