**About the Role
**
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Coating Lab Technician to support the daily operation, chemical control, and maintenance of our industrial coating system. This position plays a key role in ensuring consistent product quality, proper chemical balance, and reliable system performance within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
**Key Responsibilities
**
Monitor and manage all stages of the coating system to maintain consistent, high‑quality production results.
Perform routine chemical titrations and use data to keep system parameters within recommended operating ranges.
Troubleshoot process or equipment issues and take corrective action to prevent product or process non‑conformities.
Communicate findings to operators and verify that corrective actions are carried out effectively.
Select and apply efficient coating methods that reduce material waste and support cost‑effective operations.
Record test results, maintain logs, and enter data into Excel to track chemical usage and quality trends.
Oversee the overall performance of the coating system to ensure smooth, reliable operation.
Maintain compliance with customer specifications, internal procedures, and quality standards, including ISO and IATF.
Review SDS documentation and use appropriate PPE for all chemicals and processes.
Manage chemical inventory, monitor stock levels, and notify leadership when materials need to be reordered.
**Qualifications
**
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
Reliable work ethic and attention to detail
Forklift experience
Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
