Winter Maintenance Heavy Equipment & Deicing Operator

Are you the operator everyone calls when the snow won’t quit?

Arctic Snow & Ice Control, Inc. and IFOG, Inc. are gearing up for the 2026–2027 winter season and looking for seasoned pros to keep commercial sites safe and open.

Where you’ll work

  • Milwaukee
  • Glendale
  • Racine

What will you handle?

  • Plowing commercial parking lots exactly as directed by dispatch or the field foreman.
  • Reporting any incidents or accidents to the foreman immediately—no exceptions.
  • Keeping your foreman updated on fuel status at the start and end of each event; if a fuel cell is onsite, you’ll refuel and complete the daily fuel log.
  • Executing plowing, salting, and shoveling as conditions or instructions require.
  • Maintaining equipment in safe, working order and flagging maintenance issues to the foreman right away.
  • Keeping the cab clean and free of trash and debris.

Do you meet these requirements?

  • 2+ years of commercial snow removal or equipment operating experience.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • A legal, clean driving record.
  • Valid CDL for some assignments; not required for all operating positions.

  • Excellent communication

Safety first, always

  • Pre-Job Safety Meetings: attendance is mandatory.
  • Follow dispatch and foreman direction to the letter.
  • Complete accurate fuel logs and end-of-event cab cleanouts.

Pay and perks

  • Pay rate is discussed during the hiring process and varies by position and project.
  • Some Federal Government projects include paid Federal Holidays.
