The ideal candidate brings significant experience in insurance defense litigation, strong strategic instincts, and the ability to manage complex matters with independence and confidence. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution
• Develop and execute resolution strategies, including risk transfer, dispositive motions, negotiation, ADR, or trial
• Conduct and defend depositions, arbitrations, hearings, and court appearances
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses
• Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and internal team members
• Contribute to firm‑wide strategy discussions and quality‑review processes
• Support a trial‑ready culture through focused, issue‑driven discovery

Qualifications

• 8+ years of insurance defense litigation experience (Partner‑level experience required)
• Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania
• Strong litigation skills, including depositions, motion practice, and courtroom advocacy
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, team‑oriented environment
• Excellent communication, organization, and client‑management skills
• Portable book of business welcome but not required
