Step into a day as our Architectural Wood Samples Production Technician
You clock in, roll up your sleeves, and get the sample shop ready to run. Benches are cleared, equipment is checked, and materials for the day are staged. With your eye for detail, you move from task to task—finishing architectural samples and mock-ups to a clean, consistent standard; grading and cutting submittal stock; and sanding edges to a smooth, uniform finish.
As orders flow in, you carefully pack and label mock-ups and submittal sets, following every guideline—right down to notes for TUK(s) and re-coats. Throughout the day, you’ll operate production and wood shop equipment under supervision, keep materials organized, and help tally and take inventory of reSAWN Product & Flooring inventory so the team always knows what’s on hand.
What you’ll handle
- Daily set-up and end-of-day clean-up that keeps the sample area safe and efficient
- Accurate, neat finishing of samples, submittal-sets, and mock-ups
- Grading and cutting sample material/submittal stock to spec
- Consistent edge sanding across all sample material
- Precise packing, labeling, and documentation, including instructions for TUK(s) and re-coats
- Hands-on use of production and wood shop equipment with supervision
- Tallying and maintaining reSAWN Product & Flooring inventory

Preferred background
- Experience finishing wood
- Hands-on time with standard wood manufacturing equipment

Physical aspects of the role
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Kneel, lift, bend, twist, and push as part of normal work
- Stand/walk for up to 8 hours
