The Opportunity

WECTEC Staffing/Westinghouse is hiring an on-site Electrical Field Operations Lead for the Palisades nuclear site in Covert, MI. This is a full-time, 6–12-month contract role reporting to the Palisades Site Manager.

What you’ll tackle

• Lead and coach electrical crews executing maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Own logistics and workforce planning while upholding safety and company policy.
• Partner with project teams to align deadlines with regulatory and quality requirements.
• Perform field inspections; verify code adherence and nuclear safety compliance.
• Document all work, inspections, and safety checks with precision.

What you bring

• Field-based electrical experience.
• Prior work inside nuclear or similarly regulated environments.
• Strength in crew leadership and real-time issue resolution.
• 5+ years working with electrical systems, safety protocols, and compliance frameworks.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical docs.
• Preferred: journeyman electrician, OSHA training, nuclear site clearance.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

We’re committed to transparency and equity. The base salary range for this position—dependent on experience, qualifications, and skills—is estimated at $65.00/hour to $75.00/hour.
