Your mission
- Operate and optimize industrial wastewater treatment systems supporting multiple production and service areas.
- Safely handle, move, and process materials and chemicals—including those that are heavy, sharp, or hazardous.
- Contribute to reliability by assisting with inspections and maintenance on critical equipment.
- Perform hands-on work: climb to elevated platforms, operate mobile equipment, and lift items over 50 lbs.
- Excel in demanding settings that can be hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet, and noisy.
What it takes
- Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) Wastewater Operator License—Class A or higher (required).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Readiness for rotating 8-hour shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays; overtime as needed.
- Uncompromising safety mindset with consistent PPE use: hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective clothing, metatarsal boots, and respirator when required.
- Punctual, dependable, and self-directed.
- Pass a pre-employment digital assessment.
The reality of the work
This role is industrial and physical. You will monitor equipment closely, document readings, adjust processes, and collaborate with teammates to keep systems within permit and performance targets—no matter the shift.
