Precision Machining Technician II — CNC/Manual Lathes

Role focus

  • Set up and run CNC and manual lathes to produce precision components.
  • Handle materials safely using overhead cranes.
  • Read blueprints; select tooling and methods to meet specifications.
  • Measure with micrometers and precision tools to 0.0005 inch.
  • Apply basic metallurgy knowledge to refine processes and improve outcomes.
  • Maintain quality and efficiency across jobs.

What you bring

  • Significant machining background, including manual lathe skills.
  • Proven ability to indicate parts accurately and hold tight tolerances.
  • Fluency with micrometers and other precision gauges.
  • Experience with overhead crane operation and safe material moves.
  • Understanding of metallurgy and standard machining practices.
  • Dependability, detail orientation, and a strong work ethic.

Compensation and schedule

  • Pay every week.
  • $25.00–$27.00 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Second shift pays an additional 3.5% premium.
  • Full-time options: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM; or Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM–12:00 AM (10-hour shifts). First or second shift available.
