Senior Quality Engineer (.NET / Test Automation)

Position Overview

We are hiring a Senior Quality Engineer to lead and execute quality assurance activities across .NET-based enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on automation expert who can drive test strategy, build robust automation frameworks, and champion quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end test automation frameworks for .NET applications using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, SpecFlow, or NUnit/xUnit

• Develop and maintain automated test suites covering functional, regression, integration, and API testing

• Define and enforce QA standards, test plans, and traceability matrices across projects

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners during requirement analysis and sprint ceremonies

• Conduct performance, load, and stress testing using tools such as JMeter or k6

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps

• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps; validate fixes

• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote shift-left testing practices across teams

Required Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years focused on automation

• Strong expertise in C# / .NET test automation (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest, SpecFlow)

• Proficiency in UI automation using Selenium WebDriver or Playwright

• Experience with API testing using RestSharp, Postman, or similar tools

• Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies and their implementation in .NET

• Hands-on experience integrating tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines

• Strong SQL skills for backend data validation

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, Gatling)

• Familiarity with accessibility testing standards (WCAG 2.1)

• ISTQB certification or equivalent

• Experience in security/penetration testing for web apps
