A day in this role

Step onto the production floor and become the go-to problem-solver for electrical and controls issues across high-speed manufacturing lines. Your day blends proactive maintenance, precision troubleshooting, and collaboration with operators and leaders to keep uptime high and quality consistent.

• Diagnose and repair electrical and controls issues quickly and safely to minimize downtime.
• Complete and close work orders with detailed records and documentation.
• Work from electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams; prepare accurate technical reports.
• Use electrical test equipment and interpret readings to isolate faults.
• Troubleshoot PLC hardware and related automation components.
• Apply the National Electrical Code (NEC) appropriately and consistently.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize tasks; handle multiple priorities under pressure.
• Communicate clearly with teammates, supervisors, and managers.
• Flex hours as needed to support production needs.

Systems and machinery you’ll support

AC and DC motors, motor controls, VFDs, electrical distribution (480 VAC or less), PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, extruders, winders, packing and box machinery, slitters, center-folders, grinders, shredders, chillers, heat exchangers, conveyors, and air compressors.

Compensation and schedule

• Now offering a $7,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates (some restrictions apply).
• Starting pay rate: $31.09, paid weekly.
• Eligible for annual and skill-based wage increases.
• Monthly bonus eligibility based on plant productivity.
• Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM / 7:00 PM–7:00 AM on a 2x2x3 schedule; rotates quarterly between days and nights.

What you’ll bring

• One (1) year as an Industrial/Manufacturing Maintenance Electrician; or two (2) years of related trade/technical school; or four (4) years Industrial/Manufacturing experience with strong electrical KSA.
• Solid mechanical aptitude.
• Comfort working independently, alongside skilled trades or operations, and within a team with limited supervision.
• Ability to stand for long periods; climb, kneel, squat, and crawl.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Experience with electrical equipment, instrumentation/controls, AC/DC motors and MCCs, electrical distribution, AC VFDs/DC drives, PLCs/automation, and OSHA-aligned industrial practices.
