We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician I or II to keep our high-volume plant at peak performance. This multi-craft, electro‑mechanical role blends troubleshooting, precision repair, and smart preventive maintenance to protect uptime and safety across the facility.

Schedule & Pay

• Shift: Night Shift, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Sunday @ 11:00 PM – Friday @ 7:30 AM)
• Pay: $24.50–$35.50 per hour, plus overtime

A Night in the Life

You arrive for the evening handoff, review CMMS work orders, and set priorities for PMs and urgent repairs. When a production line flags a fault, you’re the first responder—diving into DC/AC motor drives, PLC I/O, downstream equipment, or a chiller—stabilizing operations and looping in Electrical Engineering if escalation is needed. Between events, you execute preventive maintenance to sustain maximum production rates, verify inventory of critical spares, and order control components and parts from approved suppliers. You collaborate closely with Production to ensure safe, reliable operation and contribute ideas for Continuous Improvement to eliminate chronic issues. You close the shift with accurate CMMS documentation and capture learnings for the next crew.

What You’ll Own

• Execution of PM schedules and reactive repairs to sustain throughput
• First-response troubleshooting of machines and controls (AC/DC motors and drives, downstream systems, chillers)
• Timely completion of CMMS PMs and repair work orders with full compliance
• Collaboration with Electrical Engineering when additional support is required
• Support of Daily Management directives and safety initiatives
• Development and implementation of Continuous Improvement projects
• Maintenance of adequate spare parts inventory; specification and ordering of replacements
• Close partnership with Production Staff to ensure safe, reliable equipment operation

Technical Toolkit

• Electrical test gear: voltmeter, ammeter, ohm meter, Megger
• Understanding of machine function and production Sequence of Operations
• Read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical drawings
• Working knowledge of NEC, UL 508A, and NFPA 79
• Lockout/Tagout, arc-flash awareness, and PPE best practices
• Electrical formulas and mechanical math
• 3‑phase industrial wiring and power distribution
• AC, DC, and servo drive/motor systems
• PLC I/O and networking troubleshooting

Education & Experience

• High School or Vocational School diploma (or equivalent) required
• Technician-level knowledge in electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems preferred
• 2+ years in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, and controls
• Basic PLC and drive training
• Plastics processing exposure is a plus

Workload & Availability

This position requires flexibility to work 40+ hours per week, weekends as needed, and to take on-call duties for repairs and assistance.
