Traveling Industrial Electrician — Conveyor & Control Wiring

Ready to wire systems that keep packages moving?

Do EMT/rigid bends come naturally? Can you read a schematic, route control wiring, and land motor leads with confidence? If so, ASE (All Systems Electrical) wants to meet you.

For 20 years we’ve specialized in electrical installation and controls for FedEx, Amazon, UPS, and other material handling systems nationwide. This is a long-term role with continuous projects — not a one-off assignment — and we keep our teams working year-round.

What you’ll do

  • Install EMT and rigid conduit to support conveyor and controls infrastructure
  • Pull, terminate, and label control and power conductors
  • Complete motor terminations and verify operation
  • Set up VFDs; mount and align sensors and photo eyes
  • Use electrical drawings/schematics to guide installation and troubleshooting

Conveyor experience helps, but isn’t required.

What you’ll bring

  • Industrial electrical experience
  • Strength in electrical installation and troubleshooting
  • Experience installing electrical panels
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
  • Hands-on skill with control wiring, motor terminations, VFDs, sensors, and photo eyes

Compensation & travel

  • $38–$70/hr DOE
  • Plenty of overtime
  • $150+/day per diem
  • Flights, mileage, hotels, and travel expenses covered
  • Flights home every 3–4 weeks
  • Consistent, year-round workload

Grow with ASE

  • Move into Lead, Foreman, Commissioning, or Project Management roles

Why technicians choose us

Unlike many contractors, ASE houses a UL508A panel shop alongside engineering, programming, service, and field installation teams — all under one roof. Our project managers started in the field and understand the realities of travel work.
