New Product Introduction & Process Engineer — Urethane/Rubber

At Molded Dimensions, we build engineered elastomer and urethane parts with precision. We’re looking for a New Product Introduction & Process Engineer who thrives on tightening processes, accelerating launches, and using IQMS (or similar ERP) to strengthen data integrity and control.

What success looks like

• Lean and Six Sigma projects that cut waste and elevate quality
• Daily production support that removes bottlenecks and shortens cycle times
• New products introduced with robust tooling, verified feasibility, and minimal disruption
• PPAPs, FAIs, and production trials executed efficiently and documented thoroughly
• IQMS data that’s accurate, routings/BOMs that are current, and KPIs that drive decisions

How you’ll contribute

• Lead process improvements to boost throughput and consistency
• Develop and maintain standard work and clear process documentation
• Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective/preventive actions that stick
• Validate equipment and improve process capability
• Partner with engineering, quality, and operations to deliver smooth product launches
• Support ERP/MES enhancements and integrations that enable better execution
• Participate on cross-functional teams; uphold safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Assist with capital equipment specification, installation, and validation

Role details

• Reports to: Director of Engineering
• Systems: IQMS or similar ERP (experience with ERP/MRP required)
• Environment: Hands-on, shop-floor collaboration

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related
• Applied experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement
• ERP familiarity (IQMS preferred) and strong analytical/project management skills
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across the organization

Preferred

• Experience in rubber, urethane, or related manufacturing
• Six Sigma certification (Green Belt+)
• Material science knowledge and understanding of regulatory/compliance standards
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and process control tools
