Responsibilities
Own and grow relationships with major retail customers, personally managing key accounts, identifying new opportunities, negotiating commercial terms, and driving profitable sales growth
Develop and execute the retail sales strategy, including strategic account planning, customer acquisition, pricing, forecasting, promotional programs, margin management, and business development.
Serve as a hands-on working sales leader, actively managing retail accounts and customer relationships while also coaching, developing, and supporting the sales team
Lead new customer and product commercialization initiatives, partnering closely with Operations, Finance, Project Management, Quality, and other teams to successfully execute retail programs and new product launches
Qualifications
7+ years of progressive sales experience in FMCG/consumer products, with a strong record of profitable revenue growth
Proven experience selling directly to retailers, managing key retail accounts, and developing new customers and products
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute retail sales strategies and lead, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams
Strong understanding of retail, e-commerce, broker networks, product commercialization, pricing, margins, and promotional programs
Experienced in strategic account planning, commercial negotiations, sales forecasting, pricing, and margin management
Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Project Management, and Quality to execute customer programs and successfully launch new products
Willingness and ability to travel regularly to facilities and customer locations, including out-of-town travel for customer meetings, trade shows, business development, and retail program execution
Salary: $100K – $120k
