10-4 Logistics USA is seeking full-time W-2 Class A CDL drivers based in Attalla, AL, including candidates with limited or no professional driving experience through a paid Class A training program. Positions are available across OTR, regional, and dedicated fleets, with routes primarily east of I-35. Training program (for candidates with limited or no experience)
- Paid three- to five-week training for recent CDL school graduates who meet the minimum instruction requirement (at least 120 hours).
- Training covers safe tractor‑trailer operation, compliant ELD use, trip reporting, pre‑trip/post‑trip inspections, and company procedures.
- Progress is assessed through supervised driving and competency evaluations prior to solo assignments.
Typical duties
- Safely operate a Class A tractor‑trailer in accordance with DOT and company regulations.
- Haul primarily no‑touch dry van freight (approximately 70% drop‑and‑hook) for customers across the Eastern U.S.
- Manage schedules to meet pickup and delivery commitments and maintain on‑time performance.
- Maintain accurate ELD logs, trip reports, and DVIRs; perform required pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Comply with hours‑of‑service and other applicable safety and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in required training and safety programs as directed by the company.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL and compliance with federal and Alabama state licensing requirements.
- Recent CDL school graduates who have completed at least 120 hours of instruction are eligible for the paid training program.
- Ability to pass background checks, drug and alcohol screening, and motor vehicle record checks as required.
- Willingness to work OTR, regional, or dedicated schedules primarily east of I-35 and to operate assigned late‑model equipment.
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including conducting inspections and securing loads when required.
