Box Truck Driver / Warehouse Worker

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Certified (CDL) to Drive 20ft Box Truck Driver (not full day) / Warehouse Worker to join our valued client in Elk Grove Village, IL. If you don't want to be stuck in one location and having some independance, this is the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods, loading and unloading cargo between company sites (3 miles apart). Responsibilities

• Operate box trucks safely and efficiently to transport goods to between locations.

• Load and unload cargo, ensuring that items are secured and protected during transit.

• Enter data in computer.

• Clean dock and warehouse

• Maintain accurate inventory documentation.

• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

• Assist in inventory management and organization of the warehouse as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial C-Class (CDL) driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a box truck driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Previuos experience in food manufacturing is a plus.
