Marine Structural Fabrication Welder

Step Into the Work

Picture this: you arrive at a Gulf Coast shipyard, climb aboard a vessel in dry dock, and spread out the latest set of drawings. You map out weld sequences for beams, columns, and frames, then move methodically through the job—switching between MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and stick (SMAW) to deliver strong, clean welds. You verify every pass against spec, keep your gear dialed in, and coordinate with a tight-knit crew that prizes safety and precision.

  • Fabricate and repair shipboard structures—beams, columns, and framing components—across Gulf Coast shipyards.

  • Inspect and test completed welds to confirm compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
  • Maintain torches, leads, machines, and related tools to ensure peak performance.
