High-Bay Order Picking Forklift Operator

A day in this role

Harness on. Order ticket in hand. You step onto a cherry picker and rise into the high-bay aisles. With an RF scanner, you confirm SKUs, quantities, and locations before bringing each item safely down for staging. Between picks, you glide pallets across the floor, help load and unload, and keep the flow of materials moving smoothly through a fast-paced warehouse.

Accuracy matters here. You verify product numbers, double-check counts, and keep your area organized so the next pull goes even faster. When cycle counts come up, you jump in. Throughout the shift, you follow strict forklift and warehouse safety procedures and lend a hand with general tasks to keep the team on schedule.

What you will handle

• Operate a cherry picker/order picker forklift to retrieve items from racking at elevation
• Load, unload, and relocate materials around the facility
• Pick and stage orders with high accuracy and timeliness
• Use RF scanners to track inventory movement and order fulfillment
• Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts
• Confirm product IDs, quantities, and storage locations
• Keep the workspace clean and organized
• Comply with all warehouse and powered industrial truck safety rules
• Support general warehouse duties as needed

What you bring

• 1+ year of recent cherry picker/order picker experience (required)
• Background in warehouse or distribution environments
• Comfort working at elevated heights
• RF scanner experience preferred
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Sharp attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable attendance and comfort in a fast-paced setting
• Valid forklift certification
