Foundry Technician

Aegis is partnered with a long-standing manufacturer specializing in brass, bronze, and aluminum castings. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add several Production Technicians to their team in Bensenville.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic who wants to get into manufacturing and grow with a stable company. Previous foundry experience is not required.

Responsibilities:

• Support various areas of production including molding, pouring/furnace, and clean room operations
• Handle and move materials throughout the facility
• Operate around foundry equipment while following proper safety procedures
• Wear required PPE and maintain a safe work environment
• Learn different areas of the production process

Requirements:

• 1+ year of manufacturing, construction, automotive, landscaping, general labor, or similar hands-on experience
• Comfortable working in a hot, noisy, physically demanding environment
• Ability to lift up to approximately 50 lbs.
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn
• Foundry experience is a plus, but not required
