Essential Job Functions:Operation·Assist with the startup, operation, and monitoring of paper bowl machines·Load raw materials, including paper rolls and blanks, into the machine·Clear machine jams and restart equipment safely and efficiently·Schedule work orders and properly code downtime·Print and apply product and scrap labels correctly·Enter scrap data accurately into SAP·Properly label scrap gaylords according to company proceduresQuality Control·Inspect finished paper bowls to ensure quality, detect defects, and verify compliance with specifications·Remove defective products from the line and assist in maintaining accurate production records·Report quality concerns promptly to the Operator, Lead or Supervisor.Maintenance·Perform basic machine adjustments under the direction of the Operator or Supervisor·Assist the Operator during preventive maintenance (PM) and minor troubleshooting activities·Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S standardsCompliance/Other Tasks·Comply with all company policies and procedures including GMP, PPE, HACCP, LOTO, and JSA regulations·Communicate any operational, quality, or safety issues to the Operator or Supervisor during coverage periods·Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead, Shift Supervisor or Department Manager.
