Site Quality Assurance Manager — Injection‑Blow Molding

Shape quality at the source in Hillsborough, NJ

This onsite leadership role anchors product and food safety on the plant floor. In a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you’ll balance uncompromising standards with real-world production needs—partnering with Operations, guiding inspectors and technicians, and ensuring every container shipped meets customer specifications and internal requirements.

A day in the life

You start on the production floor, scanning SPC trends and walking lines with supervisors. A quick huddle with your quality technicians sets priorities—verification checks, first-article reviews, and any open nonconformances. Mid-morning, you drive a root-cause session using cause mapping and FMEA to close a recurring defect. After lunch, you review HACCP documentation, refresh critical control point monitoring, and lead a bilingual (English/Spanish) training on GMP updates. You wrap by confirming audit readiness for an upcoming customer visit and updating validation plans tied to a process change.

What you’ll own

  • Design and execute plant quality strategy aligned to site and corporate goals.
  • Build, sustain, and improve robust GMP practices and a resilient quality management system.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions to eliminate defects and recurrence.
  • Own internal, customer, and third‑party audits; maintain a continuous state of audit readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal standards across all operations.
  • Define specifications, control plans, and validation protocols for products and processes.
  • Implement monitoring systems and continuous improvement initiatives; analyze trends to drive proactive performance gains.
  • Lead food safety programs, documentation, and training; manage HACCP plans and critical control points.
  • Verify all incoming materials and finished goods meet stringent food safety and quality requirements.
