Looking for Accountants and Staff Accountants with over 3 to 4 years of experience, preferably within nonprofit organizations, foundations, museums, universities, healthcare nonprofits, or other organizations that receive grants and donor contributions.
The strongest candidates will have hands-on experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting, along with exposure to grant accounting, restricted funds, or donor contributions.
This is primarily an accounting position with a strong grant and philanthropic compliance component, not a fundraising, grant-writing, or development position.
Prioritize candidates who have worked directly with grant expenditures, grant receivables, pledge receivables, donor restrictions, or restricted net asset accounting.
