Conduct independent food safety, GMP, and hygiene gap assessments in bakeries, distribution centers, and supplier sites as required.
Monitor and manage bakery FSQA budgets in collaboration with bakery controllers.
Support preparation for and lead customer and third-party audits as necessary.
Guide bakeries in implementing AIMS programs and ensuring ETQ compliance.
Ensure completion of bakery FSQA Compliance Calendars.
Assist in updating and continuously reviewing existing Food Safety Plans to align with current GMP practices and preventive controls.
Support bakery Food Safety (HARPC) teams in assessing and implementing controls for various hazards to food safety.
Ensure effective execution of the Bakeries Recall and Traceability Program.
Understand and lead compliance with applicable food regulations at all levels, guiding bakery teams in regulatory interactions.
Implement and lead adherence to the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) Standard (e.g., BRC), assisting in recertification and audit preparations.
Regularly engage with key customers to enhance the company's reputation as a reliable supplier of quality foods.
Ensure bakery teams thoroughly investigate customer complaints through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
