Own the Ramp: Turn New Processes into Repeatable Excellence

Imagine this: a critical process lands in your area Monday morning. By Tuesday, you’ve mapped the steps, codified key decision points, trained the first crew, and instrumented assessments. By Friday, every shift is executing to standard, audits are green, and the station is self‑sufficient. That’s the challenge — and thrill — of this role at Hadrian.

We’re building autonomous factories that manufacture the hardest parts for rockets, satellites, jets, and ships — up to 10x faster and 2x cheaper — by integrating software, robotics, and full‑stack manufacturing. We partner with startups through major defense contractors and Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers. With a $260M Series C (Lux Capital, Founders Fund, Andreessen Horowitz), we’re scaling: a 270,000 sq. ft. factory in Mesa, AZ adding 350 jobs, a new HQ to support thousands more team members, Hadrian Maritime to serve naval production, and a Factory‑as‑a‑Service model to deliver complete systems.

The Mission

As the Production Learning and Certification Specialist, you will convert new and evolving processes into high‑impact training that delivers speed, quality, and autonomy across defined manufacturing stations.

This is a full-time, hourly position that includes equity and comprehensive benefits.

How You’ll Make It Happen

  • Become first‑in‑class on every new procedure and translate it into concise, on‑the‑job instruction.
  • Coach technicians directly; uncover friction points; implement rapid improvements.
  • Track training velocity (time to full crew readiness) and quality (adherence to standards); intervene early to keep both on target.
  • Mentor technician‑trainers to ensure consistent, confident delivery across all shifts and learning styles.
  • Own quizzes, hands‑on assessments, and progress reporting; clarify expectations with well‑defined rubrics.
  • Design and refine evaluation criteria for technical competencies and behavioral skills.
  • Partner with process designers to capture tasks and decisions with structured if/then logic.
  • Maintain version‑controlled, audit‑ready training content; run/support training audits to reach 100% procedural compliance.
  • Re‑baseline returning technicians to current standards.
  • Blend on‑the‑job and off‑the‑job learning to maximize retention and throughput.
  • Collaborate with Learning System Engineers on continuous improvement roadmaps.
