Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Able to work safely and identify safety issues and implement repairs.
Diagnoses mechanical and electrical issues associated with all equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Able to use a multi-meter.
Responsible for installation, set up, maintenance and repair of all equipment related to plant operation, services and facilities.
Must have a minimum of 5 year’s experience in a manufacturing environment; proven electrical, mechanical, welding, tool and die, and lift truck experience.
Must be knowledgeable in pneumatics, blue prints/schematic readings, PLC's, VFD’s, HMI’s, and fabrication.
Maintain housekeeping and implement 5S in areas of assigned responsibility to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
Must possess good written and verbal communication skills, decision making ability and mathematical knowledge.
Must be able to utilize Maintenance Connection CMMS for Work Orders, Parts Check Out, and data collection purposes
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Computer literacy in Desktop Applications and Maintenance Connection CMMS.
Competent in working with computerized machine controls and interfaces.
Highly organized, problem solver, able to handle multiple tasks, self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability.
Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with people at all levels within the organization.
Able to act and show best work practice, understand work design, and respond to issues without specific instructions.
Must be a Team player.
Basic hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and/or general maintenance experience required.
Thermoforming, Injection molding, and/or plastics industry experience preferred.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, technical school credentials preferred.
Physical Requirements/ Environmental/ Working Conditions:
Able to safely work in a moderately conditioned, industrial process manufacturing environment
Must be able to frequently climb 10-40 steps and occasionally climb 5-10 ladder rungs.
Able to work in differing temperatures
