Fulfillment Operations & Workflow Supervisor

  • Provo, UT
  • 19 - 20 USD Hourly

Role Overview

You’ll report to the Fulfillment Manager and lead the end-to-end fulfillment flow. From product fabrication and order prep through collation, packaging, shipment processing, and manifesting, you orchestrate each step to move work accurately and on time. You’ll also shape how work moves—designing workflow, organizing the fulfillment workspace, and keeping the team aligned to plan.

A Day in the Life

Morning: You kick off with a quick check of the production schedule, communicate priorities to the department, and confirm the right work is queued. You scan performance dashboards, validate data integrity, and ensure reporting tools are current and complete.

Midday: You keep orders flowing—prioritizing, facilitating, and when needed, expediting production activities to meet customer due dates. On the floor, you oversee product fabrication, order preparation, collation, and packaging. You verify shipments are processed and manifested correctly and the workspace remains organized and efficient.

Afternoon: You capture and analyze metrics (daily, weekly, monthly, and annually) that measure workflow health and process improvement. You evaluate data collection methods and reporting frequency, tightening up accuracy and cadence. You brief pertinent personnel and senior leadership with clear status updates.

Ongoing: You drive continuous improvement—advancing workflow system development, recommending and developing future automated order picking systems, and benchmarking shipping technologies and small parcel delivery options to reduce freight costs for GSP and our customers. You also champion cross-department collaboration, refine and manage department policies and procedures, and ensure training programs (new hire and ongoing) are in place and effective.
