What you’ll do
- Maintain strict safety practices at all times and operate with all required safety equipment.
- Refer to shop manual procedures to determine the correct edge finishing approach.
- Load rolls onto the finish table; straighten spirals for uniformity; connect panels using a connecting crimp.
- Confirm the required spirals per foot from the shop order before proceeding.
- Apply proper tension and trim spirals precisely.
- Square the belt to specification.
- Weld the belt edges according to the specified edge type.
- Inspect the completed belt for quality and accuracy.
- Once approved by the department supervisor, transport the belt to the shipping department.
