Shipping & Receiving Operations Supervisor
Location: Plaistow, NH
Step into a hands-on leadership role where every hour counts. You’ll guide a small warehouse team through the rhythm of a fast-paced manufacturing facility—moving finished goods out on time, bringing materials in accurately, and keeping safety front and center.
A day in the life
- Kick off the shift with a quick huddle to align priorities, allocate work, and reinforce safe equipment use.
- Oversee inbound receiving and outbound shipping workflows; clear bottlenecks, verify accuracy, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Own documentation—BOLs, packing slips, labels—so every shipment and receipt is traceable and correct.
- Partner with vendors, freight carriers, and internal departments to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and special requests.
- Keep inventory tight through routine cycle counts and clear reporting that highlights discrepancies and trends.
- Coach, train, and support your small team—developing skills and building accountability.
Schedule & pay
- Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm
- Overtime available with occasional Saturdays
- Target pay: approximately $25/hour, flexible based on experience
What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background in warehouse shipping & receiving; supervisory experience preferred
- Organized communicator with solid computer skills
- Comfort working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
