Why This Role Matters

  • Verify that in-process and finished goods meet drawings, work instructions, and standards.
  • Own first-article/first-piece inspections to validate setups before production ramps.
  • Run visual, mechanical, and functional tests using gauges, instruments, and fixtures.
  • Capture precise inspection results and statistical data; keep records audit-ready.
  • Input data into the QMS and help generate trend and performance reports.
  • Summarize findings to call out nonconforming conditions and variances.
  • Contribute to drafting and updating inspection procedures, protocols, and checklists.
  • Use data to identify root causes; collaborate on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Promote continuous improvement to lift quality, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Perform internal process audits to confirm procedural compliance.
  • Ensure conformance with regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Escalate issues quickly with thorough, organized documentation.
  • Complete all quality paperwork accurately and consistently.
  • Adhere to environmental, safety, and quality requirements every shift.
  • Keep the work area clean and structured using 5S principles.
  • Take on other related duties as needed.

Role Logistics

  • Work Location: Onsite - Mooresville, North Carolina 28115
  • Shift: 1, 9:45pm - 6:00am
  • Pay Range: $19.00- $22 per hour (depending on skills and experience)

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years in quality, inspection, or testing within a manufacturing setting.
  • Proven ability to operate with minimal supervision.
  • Comfort analyzing and resolving complex problems.
  • Broad, practical understanding of quality systems and inspection methods.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged standing throughout the shift.
  • Frequent bending and stooping.
  • Manual dexterity for handling small components.
  • Ability to work in loud/noisy production environments.
