Schedule: 40 hours required; optional overtime available up to 60 hours

A day in your boots

You clock in, review that day’s blueprints, and set fixtures. You dial in parameters, choose the right filler, and run clean GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) passes. Between assemblies, you verify dimensions, touch up any imperfections, and collaborate with fabrication and production teammates to keep schedules tight and quality high. Before parts move to the next operation, you prep them for shipment and reset your area—organized, safe, and ready for the next build.

What you’ll do

  • Set up and run welding equipment per approved procedures and job travelers
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication documents to determine weld symbols and specs
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel components
  • Inspect welds and verify dimensions to meet quality and tolerance requirements
  • Support creation and upkeep of welding procedures and best practices
  • Assist with fabrication, assembly, and general production as needed
  • Operate shop equipment and material handling devices safely and efficiently
  • Stage, package, and prepare completed work for shipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Work closely with fabrication and production teams to meet deadlines
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and operating procedures

What you bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fab shop
  • TIG experience with steel and stainless steel preferred
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
  • Must pass a welding test
  • Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and working in a physically demanding environment
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and quality-driven
  • Comfortable working independently and on a team

Pay & benefits

Hourly Rate: $23.00–$28.00, based on experience
