Join The Forklift Pro as a Material Handling Equipment Technician

Picture your week: You work Monday through Friday, with the flexibility to put in overtime when needed. You start your day reviewing work orders, lining up parts, and prioritizing service calls. By mid-morning, you’re deep into diagnostics—isolating issues on LP, diesel, and electric lift trucks, then mapping out the repair path. Afternoons might find you performing preventive maintenance (PM) services, tidying and organizing the shop for peak efficiency, touching up cosmetic repairs, and documenting your work thoroughly. Throughout the day, your Service Manager may assign additional tasks that keep the operation running smoothly. You wrap up by closing out work orders, updating notes on parts and labor, and setting yourself up for a strong tomorrow.
