Role snapshot
Based at our Warsaw, IN facility, this position operates on 2nd or 3rd shift and centers on Swiss/sliding-head CNC turning and finishing in a high-mix environment.
What you’ll tackle
- Operate and set up CNC Swiss-style lathes and finishing equipment using hand tools, fixtures, and jigs (platforms include 20’s, 32’s, 38`s, NTY3’s, Hanwha, and Hardinge).
- Run production strictly to documented procedures and guidelines.
- Interpret blueprints, setup sheets, check sheets, and work instructions.
- Perform part setups per blueprints and setup documentation.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections using AQL and documented methods.
- Resolve dimensional deviations; verify and sign off setups completed by peers.
- Execute deburring on parts as specified.
- Change tools and adjust machine parameters to maintain quality.
- Track accurate counts of good/scrap parts; complete production paperwork and enter data into the company database.
- Use the Visual Labor Entry system to record labor and manage work orders.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures; assist with additional tasks as needed.
Tools you’ll master
- Calipers, micrometers, height stands, height gauges, and depth micrometers.
- Micro-Vu, Keyence, optical comparator, and vici measuring tools.

- Ability to read and apply blueprints and operation sheets.
