Shift Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of up to 13 employees on the production floor
• Act as a working supervisor, supporting operations while leading the team
• Monitor and ensure proper operation of heat treat furnaces and related equipment
• Perform routine equipment checks, troubleshooting, and light maintenance
• Coordinate daily production activities to meet quality and output goals
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures
• Identify and escalate maintenance or process issues as needed
• Train, coach, and support team members to drive performance and accountability

Qualifications:

• Heat treating experience preferred (furnaces, thermal processing, etc.)
• Prior supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform light maintenance and troubleshooting
• Experience working in a hands-on / working supervisor capacity
• Ability to read and understand basic technical or process documentation
• Comfortable training on day shift for ~60 days before moving to off-shift

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with preventative maintenance or maintenance support roles
• Background in automotive or high-volume manufacturing
• Familiarity with continuous improvement, safety programs, or 5S
