Principal Software Integration Engineer
Caddis Solutions is a Maryland-based engineering company supporting mission-critical work across the U.S. Department of War and Intelligence Community. Our engineers solve challenging technical problems across software, cloud, SI/ML, data, and systems engineering.
Bring software, infrastructure, and troubleshooting together in a High Performance Computing (HPC) environment. You’ll help keep large-scale clusters reliable for their users by integrating software and investigating how Linux systems, job scheduling, storage, and high-speed networks work together.
What you’ll contribute
- Keep software working across the cluster. Provide hands-on integration and troubleshooting support across the computing stack.
- Make operational work more repeatable. Use scripting and automation to support dependable computing operations.
- Follow problems across system boundaries. Work through issues involving Linux, scheduling, storage, and high-speed networking.
Experience with Python or shell scripting, along with technologies such as Slurm, Lustre, VMware, and InfiniBand, is valuable. The work offers a chance to connect those skills while solving practical problems for people using large computing environments.
Experience and education
This role requires at least 10 years of relevant experience with a qualifying bachelor’s degree, or 15 years of relevant experience without a bachelor’s degree.
