Be the force behind reliable lines and quality beverages

If solving tough technical problems energizes you, you’ll feel at home at Mark Anthony Brewing’s new Columbia, SC facility. As our Packaging Line Reliability Technician (Brewery), you’ll protect uptime, elevate safety, and enable our teams to meet ambitious production goals.

Imagine this scenario

A line trips on a nuisance fault mid-run. You arrive with PPE on, verify lockout/tagout as required, read the P&ID, and trace the signal path through a PLC input card. You find a sensor cable compromised near a conveyor guard, repair it, validate operation, and tune the VFD to stabilize speed. Before you leave, you log work details and parts used in the CMMS, note the root cause, and recommend a guard modification. You brief the incoming shift, escalate a related risk to your supervisor, and partner with the lead to update the SOP. That’s a win for safety, quality, and uptime.

What success looks like

  • Safety / Food Safety first: You wear PPE, follow plant safety policies, and uphold GMPs. You ensure equipment complies with safety standards.
  • Technical mastery: You troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls issues; perform predictive/preventive maintenance; and support installations and upgrades.
  • Electro-mechanical depth: Confident with 480VAC and 24VDC; read and apply schematics and instrumentation diagrams; service VFDs, servo motors/controllers, PLC I/O, safety modules, and comms systems.
  • Hands-on fabrication: You cut and weld (MIG/TIG/Stick) to restore or enhance equipment.
  • Rock-solid documentation: You complete PMs/work orders before leaving the plant and capture observations that inform better decisions.
  • Team-first collaboration: You plan work around Operations, Quality, and Logistics, and keep communication clear to avoid disruptions.
  • Inventory stewardship: You find parts in CMMS, record usage per inventory controls, and maximize tool/equipment utilization.
  • Training & knowledge sharing: You transfer specialized know-how to peers and teach production teams routine maintenance and safe operation.
  • Continuous improvement: You tackle recurring problems with permanent fixes and drive equipment/facility upgrades. Other duties as required.
