Nitrogen Generation Electromechanical Assembly Technician

A day in the life

You’ll begin your shift by reviewing engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions. With those in hand, you’ll assemble nitrogen generation systems and related subassemblies—combining mechanical, electrical, tubing, and pneumatic components to create a reliable, high‑quality unit.

• Install and route wiring harnesses, sensors, switches, relays, and control components with neat, labeled runs.
• Build out mechanical frames and panels, make pneumatic connections, and complete electrical wiring per spec.
• Perform functional checks including purity verification and leak testing; troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
• Inspect parts and finished assemblies to confirm they meet all quality standards and specified tolerances.
• Capture accurate production and inspection data, including any required computer entries.

How you’ll work

• Use hand tools (pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches, self‑tapping wrenches) and power tools, including air drivers torqued between 3–55 in/lbs.
• Handle repetitive part movements (1–10 lbs per part) and participate in team lifts for parts over 25 lbs.
• Package parts into cartons, tape boxes with auto dispensers, and prepare large crates for shipment.
• Move pallets of completed parts using a pallet jack (pallets weigh approximately 42–900 lbs).
• Read and follow operation manuals and written instructions; be open to constructive criticism and feedback.
• Rotate across assembly jobs as needed, maintain an organized workspace, and follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement and cross‑functional teamwork; assist with other production or assembly duties as assigned.
