Light Industrial Production Assembler — Packaging & QA

About the Role

Join Nexus Employment Solutions Plus, Inc. on 2nd Shift as you help our manufacturing partners in Montgomery, IL and Aurora, IL keep their lines moving. From the first package you place on the conveyor to the final label you apply, you’ll be part of a team that keeps quality high and orders flowing out the door—every shift.

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $15.00 – $17.50 per hour
• Status: Full-time with weekly pay
• Shift: 2nd Shift
• Long-term, steady work with opportunities for advancement

What Your Day Looks Like

Arrive to a clean, safe, and well-organized production floor. You’ll rotate between assembling products, packaging finished goods, and supporting warehouse tasks to meet daily goals. Quality matters—so you’ll check products, label accurately, and keep your area spotless.

• Assemble and package products on a moving production line
• Perform basic material handling and move light boxes prior to shipping
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
• Label products and packages precisely
• Assist with various warehouse and production projects as needed
• Meet daily production targets with your team
• Follow company policies, procedures, and good manufacturing practices
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
