Calibrate dimensional tools—micrometers, calipers, pin gages, thread plugs/rings, height gages—to ISO-9000 and ANSI Z540-1; kit gages after completion.
Apply and verify oven and equipment calibration requirements (AMS-2750, ASTM E-29) across the plant.
Conduct plant-wide calibration compliance audits and update Value Stream daily management boards.
Own the flow: coordinate internal instrument status, manage outside calibration vendors, and track progress.
Capture the proof: perform electronic data entry for calibration certifications and review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
What you bring
High school diploma or GED.
2+ years in quality control, manufacturing, or metrology within Aerospace, Military, or Machining Manufacturing ISO9001/AS9100 settings.
Fluency in complex engineering drawings and blueprint interpretation.
Bonus points
Microsoft Office suite and SAP (or similar ERP).
GageTrak experience.
Hands-on with Gage R&R; awareness of ISO 17025.
